Within the bushveld zone of Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, andBeyond Phinda Zuka Lodge is an exclusive-use property accommodating up to eight guests in four suites, with its own private guide, tracker, chef, and vehicle available exclusively to the group. Zuka’s intimate structure gives it the operational flexibility of a private house within a major game reserve, with the daily programme determined by the guests’ own interests and pace rather than by the fixed schedule of a shared camp. The bush setting, with an emphasis on the open acacia woodland and grassland habitats that support Phinda’s lion pride and cheetah, gives the experience a particular texture of open landscape and large-mammal wildlife.

Private game drives and guided walks are planned in collaboration with Zuka’s dedicated ranger, who builds each day’s programme around sightings intelligence shared across the Phinda camp network and the specific wildlife interests of the group.
