The open vehicle access to the Sand River’s wildlife-rich corridor and the Sabi Sand Reserve’s traversal rights within Kruger give the game experience at Tengile a scope unusual in a private reserve of this size.

Game drives in the Sabi Sand focus on the leopard, which uses the riverine vegetation as cover and the river crossings as ambush positions, alongside the lion prides, elephant herds, and the complete Big Five that the ecosystem sustains at densities unmatched in publicly accessible areas of the same habitat type.
